Chevron Water Bottle Labels and Caitlin's Wedding!

My lovely and oh-so-beautiful friend Caitlin asked me to design water bottle labels for her outdoor wedding at Laguna Gloria in Austin,TX. Kind of hard to tell in the photo but they have an ivory chevron print in the background with navy writing that says "Cait & Chad" and their wedding date. So much fun to be a small part of their wedding!

Come and Take It!

As you may know, my sister has started a fun little side business called Come and Take It!. She started by opening a shop on Etsy, but is now doing more custom pieces and is freelance writing about many of these projects for the Eagle newspaper in College Station.

Etsy serves well for national selling of my small pieces, but for larger furniture, I will use my blog to post pictures of the "before" and let you choose the after. Shipping will be limited to the Bryan/College Station area (or Dallas, when I come home) and pieces can be completely customized to your liking.

This Week: Oh Louise! on Vintage Indie

Soo a little news for ya...this whole week I will be guest blogging on Vintage Indie & am just really excited about it! Gabreial who is the editor of VI was super nice and easy to work with when getting all the posts and images together. Look at her cute blog header below... I of course love it because it incorporates all my fav colors!



For the week rundown, Monday was an interview & an introduction to my office space and Oh Louise! stationery, while every other day this week will be how-to's on DIY projects that Peter and I have done in our house. It should be a fun week, so don't forget to check back at Vintage Indie often!

Lovin - House of Turquoise Blog

I clearly love turquoise... especially when its paired with yellow - so cheery and pretty! I recently found this blog that I'm a tad obsessed with called House of Turquoise. Every picture features home design that has at least a bit of turquoise (usually lots!). These pics below were found in the turquoise & yellow section and I just love them. Such great inspiration for all types of design!

My mom and sister have a new obsession which has now been passed on to me -- Uptown Country! It's a cute shop in Snyder Plaza where a mom & daughter duo redo furniture and other home goods. Spring Bash Bloggy-Love
