36 weeks!

How far along?: 36 weeks yesterday
Baby is the size of?: one app says watermelon and one says swiss chard? and he SHOULD be around 6.3 pounds but according to my sonogram, he's measuring quite a big bigger than that!
Maternity clothes?: ooh yes
Feeling? feeling good, but also feeling very large... obviously. he dropped this week, so the pain under my ribs is gone but a whole new set of pains are here that are more... down low if you will. glad to have the relief under my ribs when i sit though! much more comfy to cut and fold for oh louise!
Best moment this week: Getting all the baby clothes and linens washed with my mom! They all smell so sweet like baby now!
Worst moment this week (I added this one!): Having to be checked into l&d yesterday due to my stupid white coat syndrome!! Usually at my dr appts, after the first high, ridiculous blood pressure reading, they can get it down to normal once my nerves have settled, but yesterday it just wasn't happening so to be safe they had to send me to labor & delivery to have it monitored and run some blood tests. It was totally fine & the first time they checked my blood pressure in l&d it was completely normal.. just a tad annoying that Peter & I had to spend 2 hours in the hospital for my dumb white coat syndrome! Better to be safe than sorry, I know.. but still annoying.
Miss anything?: Umm, being a normal size so I can bend over and put my socks on without a major struggle. And of course wine & other alcoholic beverages. Sorry not sorry!
Movement: Yes lots of kicking and uterus-parties going on inside me.
Food cravings: Not really.. I mean i want to eat baked goods ALL the time.. but I've had phases like this pre-pregnancy too, so I dont think I can blame it on the baby. :)
Anything making you queasy or sick?: Nope!
Labor Signs: A good amount of contractions... and according to the dr yesterday he is extremeeely low.
Belly button in our out?: In.. kind of... people who have seen it know what I mean. Its a special looking belly button.
Wedding rings on or off?: On
Happy or Moody most of the time: Happy & excited!
Looking forward to: Meeting our little guy sometime in the next 4 weeks!!

How far along?: 27 weeks yesterday!
Baby is the size of?: chinese cabbage... i have no idea how big that is, but it says 14.8 inches & 2.25 lb!
Maternity clothes?: yes!
Feeling? I feel good except for that my left ribs start hurting when I sit too long!
Best moment this week: Well this has nothing to do with the baby, but community group thanksgiving last night!
Miss anything?: Wine mainly.. I think that might be my answer every time.
Movement: Lots of movement and kicking! He's a night owl... likes to kick me when Im trying to go to bed.
Food cravings: Not really, but I guess still sushi if I had to pick.. Sorry I'm boring. :)
Anything making you queasy or sick?: Nope!
Have you started to show yet?: Oh yeah.. looking pretty large these days
Labor Signs: Nope
Belly button in our out?: In.. but definitely very different looking!

Boy Nursery Inspiration

I've gotten some requests lately for a blog post on nursery inspiration so I was feeling motivated this morning & compiled some pics! These are not necessarily ideas that are going to end up in my nursery, just photos that I'm drawn to for one reason or another. Anyway, here they are!

Hopefully sometime soon I'll have pictures of my own nursery to show... Won't be as cute as these precious ones above, but I'm gonna do my best to try! :)
