I have said before that I loove the hardware at Anthropologie... its so cute & not that expensive. I mean its no Dollar Tree, but its pretty reasonable. PS I love you dollar tree!! Anyway, if you don't remember the bathroom cabinet overhaul, here is a pic of the pretty anthro knobs I used for that. Well its just 1 knob in this picture, but you get it.
I also put some new knobs on the cabinets in Peter's bathroom (yes that's right, we don't share a bathroom... and its awesome).
My newest knob switch-out was on our cabinets under our built in shelves in the den.
Here are the before handles... not cute. And awesome story... we actually removed them and woodfilled the holes before we moved in, but for some reason the sweet little men who were painting the walls in the den decided they should screw new holes & put the handles back in the cabinet doors. I have no idea why they did this & I also have no idea why they put them on unevenly. Fabulous.
Peter and I were like uhhh what? why did they do that? And then naturally, we just left it that way for a year.
Ghetto unenveness
So here I go... it took me a year, but at least I did it people.
Woodfilling..
Let the woodfill dry for 30 minutes or so and sand it down.
I didn't take pictures of this step, but I did woodfill one of the top holes later and drill a new hole into the cabinet so that they would be even. It was my first experience with a drill.. I probably shouldve videoed the whole process of me trying to figure out how to work it... it was definitely blonde moment after blonde moment..haa. fun times.
Pretty anthro knobs!
Screw those babies in.
And the pretty after! Much better than old bronze crooked handles!
Have a wonderful weekend!
Those knobs look crazy cute!! We're looking for some good ones for our hall closet -- I'm off to go check out Anthropologie (thanks for the tip!) :)
